This project is a finished mobile app. It is used as a scalable revenue stream for our client. It's available on apple and android. The app is a freemium guided meditation service.

A freemium app is a software application that is initially provided to users for free, offering basic features or functionality, but includes premium or advanced features that require payment to access. Users have the option to use the basic version indefinitely or upgrade to the premium version for additional benefits or features.

Kelly Berkmans

Kelly runs a coaching business for individuals and companies. She helps people that are struggling with burnouts and stress. We heard from her that she wanted to build a mobile app to be able to offer her content to a large audience, and so that her audience can listen to her guided meditations at any time.

What We've Built

App Designed For Meditation

We created a design focused on nature images. The most important features that help users meditate are:

listening while the screen is closed.
spotify style current meditation in the footer of the app.

🎨 Notice how each time the colors used in the app change to match the meditation which is playing.

Easy Content Management & Community

We created a very easy signup flow for users requiring only first name and email. Every user is greeted by their name and the time of the day. The email is then used to send a scheduled email drip with mailchimp.

In this content driven app it is also very important to be able to experiment with different content, find out what your audience likes the best and keep the app new for subscribed users.

For these reasons we created a content management studio for Kelly. She is able to change the order of the sections and group different meditations without having to contact us. She is also of course able to upload free and paid content at any time. Talking about free and paid meditations let's discuss the payments of the app 💶

Recurring Payments.

This app follows the freemium model, which lets more people download and try the app. The app offers in-app purchases to unlock the full list of published meditation content.

We have added 7.99 euro per month and 34.99 euro per year subscriptions for the app.
